When two lonely hearts open up and let their walls down for each other, simply because they see their soulmate in the other or they click without any explainable reason, that´s the moment where magic starts.
Two Moscow Mules, a birthday, and a festival in town to dance all evening; were the few ingredients needed for making our friendship closer than its ever been. We were classmates at London Schools, became friends on the school's Volleyball Royal Spike team and eventually, after that evening spent together in London years later, we became really close. With Tokyo and Paris being our homes, we talked and texted for hours and even started to videochat to show each other what our lives were like and where we lived. Then in Tromso on top of the mountain during St. Kobe's day of year 82; we shared our first kiss. We confessed our feelings for each other. From that day onward, we agreed to work something out between the jobs, university classes, and houses we each had separately. It´s funny to look back, we will both say we didn´t have to find a way in between or make sacrifices, it was only normal for us to be together as much as we could. Traveling between Paris, London, and Tokyo became our first stage of our relationship, to learn and respect each others' dreams, and slowly becoming part of them to share together in the end. |
It was Christmas day when we spent our holiday with Ava's family and when I had planned on proposing to Ava on top of the mountain - it was only logical that had to be the best place to ask her. The hardest part was to get Ava alone and to myself during family days.
Not long after we announced our engagement; we had even bigger news. A big surprise came into our lives when we were on our way to look for our own house. A home for us to build our future together in London. After 6 whole weeks, we were blessed with a daughter, Aria. She´s our angel and a token of our love. Now being a family connected by Aria, we still want one more step in our relationship and that´s a bond connected through marriage. We both love family traditions and nothing would make us happier if all of our family and close friends could make it there at our wedding day. Xavi & Ava. |
